Jagged Little Pill at Broadhurst Theatre

When you’re visiting New York City, New York, the one place you can’t miss out on seeing is the world famous Broadhurst Theatre. Not only does the Broadhurst Theatre invites some of the most up-and-coming musical theater companies to their stage, but they also provide fans and guests everything they need for a phenomenal experience. The latest on the list of awesome shows taking to their stage is the amazing rock musical, Jagged Little Pill! Jagged Little Pill is so dense with plot that could have sustained solely on the original 12 songs from Morissette’s seminal, Diamond-certified 1995 album that gives the musical its title. You’ll hear all of them framed within inspired contexts: “Ironic” is sung in a high school writing workshop, “Forgiven” is an act-one curtain closer set in a church that dramatizes an unsettling turning point in Mary Jane’s spiraling pill addiction.
