The Broadway musical revolves around the rise and work of Neil Diamond, showcasing his most famous hits performed by a talented cast under the supervision of Will Swenson, including "Cracklin' Rosie", "America" and "Song Sung Blue."
It charts the story of a troubled Jewish artist from Flatbush who builds himself as a performer at Greenwich Village's Bitter End and is continuously placed in difficult situations as he grows older.
The 2022 production has won many related Awards, including “Outstanding Choreography” and “Outstanding Dancer” in a Broadway Show. Plus, the show has been nominated (and sure to win) for both “Outstanding Production of a Musical” and a “Distinguished Performance Award” under the Drama League Awards.
"It is initially a hit parade within a dramatic showcase of Diamond’s 1960s beginnings in the first act, which is subtly followed by a second act that is set of sequined, post-1960s concerts spliced with portraits of a broken marriage and lonely childhood, and then a dénouement of hardcore emotional resolve."
