A Beautiful Noise – The Neil Diamond Musical at Broadhurst Theatre

The life and work of Neil Diamond is the subject of a brand-new Broadway musical. His greatest hits, including "Cracklin' Rosie," are all presented in the production, which will be performed by an stellar cast under the direction of Will Swenson.

The story follows an anxious Jewish artist from Flatbush, whose family name is called Diamond. According to prior reports, singer-songwriter Neil Diamond-Then will be played by Will Swenson, who most recently played in the Off-Broadway revival of Assassins. Neil Diamond-Now will be played by Tony contender Mark Jacoby, talented performer Robyn Hurder as Marcia, while Linda Powell is cast as the Doctor.

The creative team comprises Tony Award-winning director esteemed director Michael Mayer, four-time Oscar nominee screenwriter Anthony McCarten, and Olivier Award-winning choreographer choreographer Steven Hoggett. The musical will have scenic design by award-winning scenic designer David Rockwell, lighting design by four-time Tony winner Kevin Adams, costume design by renowned costume designer Emilio Sosa, and sound design by esteemed sound designer Jessica Paz.
